I used uifiles\AYA101709\Inventory\Bags Open\EQUI_Inventory.xml

When using this, the UI doesn't load correctly. When I change the xml back to default, it works again.

Not sure what you mean. I downloaded it and it works perfectly me for me. It is the third tab on the map window.

What is a custom script?

Inventory bag open

Hi again,

I was using the inventory all bags open, and it seems it doesn't work with this version. When I use the custom script the UI don't load at all.

Did you try the optional horizontal version in the buff windows subfolder? There is more room across the top that allows for larger buff icons.

Really great job with this UI !

I am wondering if there is a way to improve the size of the buff window ?
I am using vertical window, but if I could have something bigger it should be better for me. This window doesn't seem to be resizable.

Is it possible to modify the XML to increase the size of the window ?

May need some help soon with updates

Hi Everyone,

Just an advanced heads up that when underfoot launches that I will need some code writing assistance with this UI. For the past few months Gilthanos has been afk with RL and Javin has dissappeared now for over 8 months.

If there is anyone who can help me with this UI it would be wonderful. I will make sure you get full credit for your work and there are hundreds of AYA users who will be eternally grateful!

Just change the slot number and you are good to go.

Inventory EQType:
0 = Charm
1 = L-Ear
2 = Head
3 = Face
4 = R-Ear
5 = Neck
6 = Shoulder
7 = Arms
8 = Back
9 = L-Wrist
10 = R-Wrist
11 = Range
12 = Hands
13 = Primary Slot
14 = Secondary Slot
15 = L-Finger
16 = R-Finger
17 = Chest
18 = Legs
19 = Feet
20 = Belt


Container EQType:
30 = Container Slot 1
31 = Container Slot 2
32 = Container Slot 3
33 = Container Slot 4
34 = Container Slot 5
35 = Container Slot 6
36 = Container Slot 7
37 = Container Slot 8

Spell bar clickies?

Can anyone explain, or maybe post a mod, on changing the 4 spell bar clickie slots? I tried to go in and edit them to the slots I wanted to be showing but it basically didnt work, heh. Chest slot is showing (#17) and Inv slot 8 (#30) which is cool, but if possible I would like to have left or right finger (#15 or16), and Face (#3) in the other 2 slots.

I think a simple edit just doesnt work, maybe need a special program to edit with?

I cannot fix this file. I have tried. Gilthanos built it and has not been available to make the change. (RL has him by the balls right now) If someone else wants to fix it by all means email it to me at [email protected] and I will add it to the download. The vertical buff window works fine.

Gilthanos uses this resolution and he just moves the UI pieces around on the screen to fit the higher resolution.

I feel like a retard, I cannot for the life of me get this UI to work properly in 1920x1200. Does the small amount of resolution difference matter that much? I get the default pile of windows in the upper left corner and am missing a bunch.

Any chance of getting a 1920x1200 .ini?

Thats your problem.

DO NOT "copy the default UI folder to a seperate folder and add the AYA stuff to it"


Follow these instructions:

-download this UI
-unzip the downloaded file into the uifiles folder in your eq directory
-find the EQUI_YOURNAME_YOURSERVER.ini file in the download and rename it. The copy and paste that file into your Everquest folder (not the AYA downloaded folder)
-log into the game
-open options ingame
-click on the load UI button on the general tab
-Select the new UI

You should be all set!
