General Notes
If you are having trouble loading the UI, or are not seeing items properly. Run the "SparxxUI_Cleanup.bat" (see my patch notes for SparxxUI v14.1 released on 04-20-13).

Map Window Notes
For those that have just black showing on the map window.
1) Right click on the map window header, go to Background > Texture.
2) Right click the map window header again, go to Background > Tint Color (then choose whatever color you like from the color picker window).
This is an "any color" map window (helps on maps that are hard to read).

- Enabled number pad key input on edit controls. This includes the chat window.
- Autorun has no default key binding now.
- Moved the drag item definitions from the EQUI_Animations.xml file to their own file: EQUI_DragItems.xml. This will reduce the need for custom UI modders to update their UIs when drag items are added.

I had a brainstorm as I was going to sleep a few nights ago, and came up with this: - Created a new "switch" button (that when clicked) opens a new popup window that contains all of the items that were previously in the the "switch" tab. - Removed the tab container in the main window (manage, switch). - Removed Group Leader XP text, GLXP bar, and percent. - Changed the text for the "Hotkey" button to "HK". - Added new text label named "Assist" over the two assist buttons. - Changed the text for the "Auto Assist" button to "Auto". - Changed the text for the "Call Assist" button to "Call". - Made the horizontal width of the window the same as the pet and cast spell windows. The result is the smallest, fully functional Mercenary window available. EQUI_TopLevelScreens.xml - Added provisions for the new Mercenary popup box. Group Window - Changed the color of the AA and PT shortcut buttons to green. There are still many people out there that do not know I added them to the window. Chat Window - Tighted up the borders of the chat area(s). Player Customization Window (Appearance Window) - Sparxxified™ the entire window. - Now optimized, and 1/2 the size. - Removed close "X" on the border since the window has a cancel button. Map Toolbar Window - Sparxxified™ the entire window. - Now optimized, and 1/2 the size. Friends Window - Sparxxified™ the entire window. - Merged the Ignored, and Muted Tabs. - Lengthened the whole window. - Reduced font size to 2 on all elements. Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/SparxxInterface) - Updated Cover Image and Profile picture. 04-20-13 Release Version 14.1 EQ Button - Changed the graphics for the EQ button (to be farther updated later). - Removed SparxxUI version text. - Added Sparxx button (When clicked, will display a popup window with the UI version, and contact info). EQUI_TopLevelScreens.xml - Added provisions for the new SparxxUI popup info box (EQ Button). Mercenary Window - Removed the redundant XP and AAXP bars. - Added Group Leader XP bar. Compass Window - Added "Gold Days Left" so you can see it at a glance (fulfilling request from SymScripts) Player Window - You can now click anywhere on the (HP, Mana, Stamina) numbers, bars, or percents to target yourself. New SparxxUI Cleanup Batch File Added a batch filed to the zip called "SparxxUI_Cleanup.bat". The purpose of this file is to remove old/unneeded files in the SparxxUI folder. All you need to do is double-click it to run it. The following files are deleted (if present) with the batch file in the folder where SparxxUI is installed. They are not used in my UI, and are safe to delete. You can delete these files individually, but it is a whole lot easier to just use the batch file. If this file is in your SparxxUI folder, it needs to be deleted. 03-19-13 Release Version 13.6 Tradeskill Window - Karneack pointed out that the trivial column on the Tradeskill window was not showing. - Completely redesigned the Tradeskill window. - Bottom right corner of the window will allow re-sizing (so you can move the trivial column if it is not showing). - Added minimum dimensions to the window. 03-18-13 Release Version 13.5 Mercenary Window - Removed title bar. - Completely optimized the window. - Move Info, Set Owner (renamed to Trade), and Dismiss buttons to second tab. - Renamed "Buy Slot" to "$ Slot" to save space. - Removed "Stance" text and moved the timer in it's place on the first tab. - Removed "Owned" text and move the Total Slots text in it's place on the second tab. - Changed tooltip text where necessary. - You can still double-click the stance to change it (the Set Stance button is optional). - Added XP and AAXP experience bars (to fill in the dead space until I can figure out something better to put there). When switching UI's, it may inherit the old size so it was necessary to re-add it. (Bottom right corner) Extended Target Window - Added Minimum vertical window size (minimum is 5 targets). Gems Window (Sparxx Mini-Merc Window) - The Mini-Merc window was just too buggy to work properly. This window is now once again the gems window. Selector Window - Removed the Mini-Merc icon. 03-13-13 Release Version 13.4 -Updated files necessary for the patch of 03-13-13. Spellbar Window - Now only vertically resizeable (use bottom border). All other borders will move the entire window. Minimum size is 8 spells. Armor Dye Window - Fixed the color choice buttons from just showing black. Respawn Window (the one that shows when your dead) - Optimized Space. New Point Merchant Window - Optimized Space. Label Window (Map) - Optimized Space. Find Window - Optimized Space. Skills Window - Optimized Space. Race Change Window - Optimized Space. MP3 (Music Player Window) - Optimized space (Window is now slightly smaller). - Changed the color of the song playing progress bar to match the XP/AAXP bars. - Increased drop down menu size (you can now see 45 songs at a time). *Removed all of the following un-needed/un-used files. 2) Does the folder name you have my UI in have any spaces in the name? If so, it cannot.
3) If the above are not the fix, email me your UIErrors.txt file (in your EQ Directory) to bonechip@gmail.com

Hey

love the UI

but i play in windows mode in a small screen

was trying to change the spell bar and and the spell buff bar from another UI that is smaller but when i load it doesnt change

any help would be great

Bah I feel dumb for not scrolling down a little. So having to hit the "show all" button is working as intended. Kind of annoying to have to constantly hit that button every time I want to reclaim coins but I guess it's a little thing to deal with. Thanks for the speedy reply!

Alt Currency bug?

I have noticed that when ever I log on, my alt currency tab window is broken. It shows no coins or anything.
When ever we beat a raid, I have to :
1 hit the "show all" button to get them to appear
2 hit the reclaim button to put the coin in the window
3 hit the "show all" button again to get the coin i deposited to show up.
(I don't know what happened but that's what I have to do to get my correct currency value to show)

Also something I've noticed about the merc window
The main button (For revive, suspend/unsuspend) is messed up.
If my merc dies, the button says revive
The "revive" title will say active even after I revive him, where it should say "suspend" normally.
After reviving and suspending him, the button still says "revive" where it would normally say "unsuspend".

I do not support mix&match interfaces, but to answer your question I have new top level windows declared in: EQUI_TopLevelScreens.xml

The new windows declared are:
