FEATURES:
This mod is a complete graphics and layout overhaul of the entire UI. Windows have been redesigned from the base up for thematic uniformity
and data presentation, to minimize mouse travel, and to load proportionally when using the /viewport command. Windows have been resized
to fixed widths for an easily adjustable modular layout. Unimportant tool-tips have been removed. Retained tool-tips have been edited to reflect
common use. Column headers have been relabeled for consistency. Combat and other critical windows have been restructured with a minimalist
view while preserving data presentation needs in secondary windows.

No more silly tooltips. No more random font sizes. No more irregular button sizes. No more losing a button outside a minimized window border,
or having a window reset and blow up its dimensional proportions. You no longer have to be afraid to make adjustments to resizable windows
without being able to get it back "just so."

Best of all, there are no custom animations or templates files. The only required window is the chat window. This is as patch proof as it gets!

AA Window:
  • Tabbed AA auto-grant lockout to prevent accidental AA auto-granting.
Actions Window:
  • Sized to be interchangeable with the Pet Info Window.
  • Integrated Hotbar #10.
Bandolier Window:
  • Integrated hotbars #2 through #9 including identification labels for a total of 960 hotkeys.
  • Collapses to a fixed dimension to hide hotbars when using default or EQMain Window hotbars.
  • Drag and drop inventory slots with legacy right clickies.

  • Displays inventory slots for all bank and shared bank slots.
  • Expands to display the full contents of 40 slot big bags.

  2. Change the lines "<Text>#</Text>" to match your desired keybind orientation.
Chat Window:
  • Overlapping input and output to be used in conjunction with the context menu “Always Chat Here” option.

HOW TO SET THE CHAT WINDOW:
  1. Make a new Chat Window or select an existing Chat Window to be used for primary chat.
  2. Adjust the height of the Chat Window to display a single line of text.

  • On / off toggles for guild and personal tribute and trophies.
  • Guild tribute and guild trophy status indicators.
  • Trophy Window button.

HOW TO FIX MISSING COLUMNS:
There are a number of UI Windows which contain columns widths inherited from the [character]_[server].ini file rather than the UI .xml file. This issue manifests
as the appearance of missing columns when switching from Default to Graphite. The steps required to move columns back into the visible area are as follows:
  1. Switch back to Default.
  2. Locate the offending column and drag the separator to make the column more narrow.
  3. Switch back to Graphite and adjust the column to an appropriate size.

SUPPORTED RESOLUTIONS:
1920px width
1680px width
1440px width
1360px width

The only window dependant upon screen resolution is the EQMain Window at the bottom of the layout. Please post modification requests for different screen widths.
No layout .ini is included in the download nor are there plans to include a layout .ini in the future. This UI is designed to be modular and customized by the user.

CREDITS:
Graphics: Combat state indicators with permission from AYA UI.
Windows: Chat window from Thoughtlover's Overlapping Chat Window.
Windows: Map window background toggle from Myxiplx's Tiny Map.
Windows: Reverse Loot window from Axeion's Hail to the King UI.

FUTURE UPDATES:
Group Mark icon for the Group and Player Windows.

Please feedback any issues. Thanks!

* All-in-one gauges for the standard Hotbar #1 are incomplete. Use Hotbar #10 until further notice. RESOLVED
* Guild Management Window is incomplete.
* Map Window is missing the background color change toggle. RESOLVED
* Short Duration Buff Window is missing song name labels. RESOLVED
* Target Window is fully functional, but needs some work.
* Various icons, graphics, and textures are incomplete.

Issues listed above as well as many graphical tweaks will be coming soon(ish)! Please feedback any additional issues. Thanks!

Chat Window

I absolutely love the look of this UI. Only problem I've experienced is when entering chat it puts the chat line in the middle of the chat box, causing overlapping text when chat box has content already.

Yes, that's by design to eliminate the wasted space of having chat input lines on all the windows.

Make a new chat window, adjust it's vertical size to be the height of one line of text for whatever font size you use. Then right click that new, dedicated chat window and select "Always Chat Here" from the pop-up context menu.

Once those steps are completed, all your chat input will always appear in the same window and not overlap the chat output in the other windows. You won't have to click each window to change the mouse focus, just use the chat commands /g, /gu, /say, /channel #, etc. To edit your chat, use Shift-left arrow or Shift-right arrow (by default) to move the cursor left or right and edit typos before sending the message.

You can see an example of this setup in the "Layout" screenshot with the window labeled "Chat 1." You may not need a chat entry box that wide. My preference is to see as much of the sentence I'm typing as possible without having to scroll.

Thanks for the feedback!

How difficult would it be to modify this to 1920×1080 screen res? This is such a good looking interface, I would love to give it a try.

Easy enough to do to make it "exactly" the same as the screenshot. Given that, the only window with a fixed width dependent upon screen resolution is the EQ Button / Selector Window which holds the xp gauges and the compass viewport at the bottom. Every other window will work in any resolution.

The UI as it stands now will work fine in a different resolution. One could build a layout around the Selector Window in its current width; or move the Selector Window and EQ Button to the top of the screen to avoid having the gaps on the left and right with wider resolutions. I personally had it at the top for years and years until this build.

I will put a 1920px Selector Window on my very short to do list, like this week or next (no promises, guarantees, or implied warranties).

Thanks!

I noticed some overlapping texture artifacts in v1.05 on the close, help, and minimize window icons. It will be fixed in the next release after the Hero's Forge release next week(ish?).

Also, unless I receive any complaints or other reports of broken EQ Types, functions, options, or other stupidity I will be removing the Beta Tag. I do not have the capability at this time to test all of the Gold Membership, Guild Management, and a few other features.

Thanks for your feedback and continued use!

Working on it now. In the meantime, you can delete from your UI directory the following files:

EQUI_Container.xml
EQUI_ItemDisplay.xml
EQUI_OptionsWindow.xml

Those windows will revert to default until I have the changes zipped and uploaded.

Looks like a pretty solid UI; awesome work!

A couple questions, though....

Are you planning on skinning the rest of the untouched windows? Aside from the 4 you list below, there are a number of windows that still have the default skin to them? I understand this is merely an aesthetic/eye candy thing, but then again this is my OCD talking!

The spellbar: the layout of it seems kinda confusing in that it looks like a number pad, yet the spell slots on it are actually in reverse order (see below)

Looks like 7 8 9 Spell slots follow a layout of 1 2 3
4 5 6 4 5 6
1 2 3 7 8 9

And am I correct to assume the Ins Del Enter line of buttons (and the 3rd button on the line above them) are for the AA unlockable spell slots?

On a side note.....would it be at all possible to provide layout/window arrangement files (personally, I play in a 1440x900 resolution)? I don't want to come across as being 'lazy' or 'whiny', but it's kind of a pain in the you-know-what spending ~30mins alt+tabbing/flipping back and forth between screenshots and in-game to set it up.

Thanks!
