I was curious if any were still using it. I am playing again on a limited basis on my Beastlord.

I took what was here and made a few changes and repairs, my way.

Feedback will determine wether or not I start maintaining it again.

I just finished the latesd patch version with a new grp window (i tried to rearrange the old one, but i suck). Group window i took from Myxiplx and modified it a bit to fit next to the new spallbar window with 12 spellslots.

Next is buffwindow, the old one will only work now with a screen resolution above 1280, because the buff window with 30 slots is now 1300+ pixels wide. Will make a smaller version for 1280x1024 resolutions.

Will upload it tomorrow morning.

I like to use this on a new ranger twink I made a few weeks ago... it was recommended to me by a couple friends who also use your UI Mav :)

My version of the group window. Back to the "Old School" gages.

Note that the Mana and Endurance use the same line. Mana takes priority over the endurance. I didn't see the need for making spots for all three.

Since Endurance is not an issue for most hybrids, Tanks have no Mana and Casters have no Endurance, what's needed is displayed and I saved enough space so the window didn't get any bigger.

My Beastlord Version of the Mav UI is going to go a different direction than Fen is taking the Ranger Version and that's ok.

Keep up the good work, and good hunting!

Mav

I have used it since it came out as long as I could find updates. I'll keep using it as long as it works. Today I had to switch to another as I couldn't find an updated file, but will switch back if I do.

Update to the UI soon.

Changes I've made:
1. Most of the Thomas King stuff is gone.
2. Weapon swap slots are temporarily located where the 2 new spell gems will go
3. Re-arranged and re-sized the merc window
3. EQ button is smaller
4. pet window is smaller, well kinda smaller
5. group window re-done and back to the size I originally had it
6. I am using a mini map off EQ interface (I'll look it up and give proper credit later)
7. also using a mini give window off EQ Interface (I'll look it up and give proper credit later)
8. Re-sized and re-arranged hotbutton window 3 to fit in place of the spell gem window for MMs
9. changed some swap slots in the click tab on the combat ability window.
10. took weapon swap slots out of the containers
11. took out the color changing gages where the percentages are
12. resized voicebar
13. potion belt is smaller
14. put back in my favorite "Spike Spin" target indicator
15. buff bars work, but I'll get around to the added 5 spots when necessary
16. changed around the hotbuttons look a little, took out stuff I thought was unnecessary.
17. There's some other odds and ends I've changed around to tweak it some.

There's prolly more, but I've forgotten what all I've done. It still looks pretty much the same, I've just eliminated some of the "Bling Bling".

Stay tuned for further updates, prolly upload to the beastlord version later this evening. I haven't decided if I will maintain a Ranger version.

Rangers, don't get all bent out of shape. The two UI's are exactly the same except for the Brown Skin and Gold Trim vs Green Ivy and Gold Trim graphic files. The question is, do I feel like going to the trouble of making sure all the Ranger graphic files are there and correct.

Feedback will have a definate effect on that decision.

Later,

Beside the obvious Pet Windows, whats the difference between beast and Ranger UI's? I am looking at the screenshot of the beast one and trying to find out.

Nothing other than the skin. Fen's version of the UI has differences that are small, mostly placement of text, sizes of buttons, gage styles and sizes, stuff like that.

When I was maintaining both, the UIs were identical, with the exception of the Green Ivy vs Brown Fur.

The Window_pieces tga files and the wnd_bg_dark_rock and wnd_bg_light_rock tga files from the Fen's version of the Ranger UI "Should" work fine replacing the ones in my Beastlord UI.

I haven't tried this yet so there may be a part of the UI show up the wrong color.

Servers are up, I've pre-ordered Underfoot and done the required tasks for early access. I will be fixing/working on the UI tonite and will probably post it Friday after testing.

Quick fix for now, just copy the EQUI_Animations.xml from the default folder to the Beast folder overwriting the existing file. The Buffs will look different is all.

For those of you who also have early access, you'll have to wait for the two extra spell slots till I work on the window and post it.

Keep the Faith! Changes are coming!

Update:

Spell Cast Window is done. Buff bar is Done. But .......

That Myxpic's mini Map crashes the EQ Client. So, gotta fix that yet. never fear though, I'll have the UI posted tonite for sure.

Good Hunting,
Mav
