EQ recognizes the UI Modding World (well somewhat anyways)

MESSAGE OF THE DAY: The patch tommorrow for Depths of Darkhollow will include changes to EverQuest's User Interface. As a result, custom UI's may not function correctly. If you have any issues, please reset to the default UI using /loadskin default 1, Untill the creator of your custom UI has modified it.

This was the GAMEWIDE BROADCAST today at 3:15PM CST.

I just thought I would post it for those who have been working their fingers to the bone and dont get to play EQ at work, but get to read the forums at lunch. How did Dolby post the in-game MoTD that came up on the live server today Sept 12th 2005 on Aug 29th 2005, I mean that was 13 days before it happened. Anyways. Servers just came down at 2:00am CST for the maintenance cycle, and long awaited Depths of Darkhollow patch. We will just have to wait and see if it is only doen for 12 hours like they say it should be rather than a whole day....

Believe it or not,SOE actually does communicate with our beloved EQinterface(check the old posts,I believe Dolby threatened to blind them with science(sorry,I have been dying to make that reference ever since I first saw Dolby's name,those young pups that not have a clue what I mean,well...ask someone older than you what that means)if they didn't at least keep us semi informed on UI changes .
