Tweaks?

This is a nice improvement.
However it raises a question for me. As I look through the settings on the new driver I wonder what settings to adjust for maximum effect, both quality and speed, in EQ. Along the same line of thinking has anyone come across ANY tweaks for EQ?

Anyway just a thought.

If you're having the problem with it crashing in Advanced Properties once the new driver installed :

Uninstall the drivers completely from Add/Remove programs, reboot, then reinstall them again, then reboot.

Then it will work properly

Tip given by a guildie, I had that problem myself, did what he said, and no more crashing now when going into advanced properties, it works perfectly.

My 3dmark2001SE went from 9987 to 10289 with these new drivers.

Also noticed an increase in fps when in the bazaar (1600x1200).

Although i loaded up Return to Castle Wolfenstien and noticed some artifacts in the video every once in awhile (some gliping) but the framerates were very nice.

nVidia sure has a great team of driver programers.

After Installing These, I am knocked back into 60hrz Refresh hell...none of the tweaks seem to correct this either, any ideas?

Thanks,

I installed em shortly after they were released. Definitely noticed and improvement in framerate (ran Fraps while testing)... also got knocked back to 60hz refresh but simply reset it and all was good again.

So far, they run great in EQ and everything else I've tried that uses D3D. OGL is about the same, all the optimization seems to be in the D3D area.

I dont see how all of you are getting better preformance from these drivers i installed them last night and my 3D Mark 2001 SE score droped 500 from what it was with the old drivers.

Older card (ie: TnT2) ... newer card (IE: GF4) Galudan? Curious what you are running.

When you dowload the drivers, where should you put them in Windows XP Home edition? I am running a GeForce 4 Ti 4600.
