Chat Windows
 

Returning player and having to re-do my skin. I don't have the patience to make my own so I use your great contributors mods. I just take pieces from the individual catagories.
I was wondering where are the mods for just Chat windows? I see you can get chat window mods in the complete download sections but not in the individual pieces sections. Is there a reason for this?

look in misc

basically, some ui pieces get modded enough (or the EQInterface folks thought they would get modded enough) that they have their own page. the rest of them get lumped together in 'misc'.

I looked for chat window mods and did not see any in the misc section.

All I need is a chat window with simple borders.

well, my 'Trimmed Chat Window' mod from six years ago still works. But it's not exactly what you want.

also having trouble with chat windows... I am currently using Drakah's TKing Celtic, but I was unable to replace the chat window taken from other set...

do I just copy "EQUI_ChatWindow.xml"? or are there other files that I need to copy/modify too?

Here's a chat window with simple borders. I wouldn't use it because it has no minimize button... but it looks like what you want.
