Some help with my maps please...
 

Can anyone tell me how to change the color of the X's on my maps? The lime-green things are very difficult to see, I would like to change them to something more bold or at least a color that shows up. If you could give me a step-by-step I would truly appreciate it. Go to your EverQuest folder.

Find UI_Charactername_servername.ini and open it with Notepad.

Search for [MapViewWnd].

Under [MapViewWnd] you should see:
GroupColor.red=0
GroupColor.green=255
GroupColor.blue=0
Or something close to that.

Change those 3 values to set the color of the X indicators for groupmates.

Personally, I use red=0, green=0, blue=255.

That works for other people's X's, but not for the arrow marking your own position.

I have more trouble seeing the arrow than the green X;s.

Last time I checked there is no fix for this, but this thread prompted me to ask whether someone has figured out anything new on this score...
