Thanks Mavarian!

I just wanted to thank you from all us rangers out there for your continued support and tweaking of your UI! It's awesome.... Great to have someone like you around to guide us!

Updated UI is almost done! Check back here tonite or tomorrow for a screenshot of it. I wanna run it in game for a couple days before I release it though. Also want feedback on it too. :)

Thanks Mav! I'll be watching for it, but I love the one you already created! (-:

More Clicky Spots!

I like it, looks cool. Only one thing I really dont like, the entire "theme" of it is green, except the names of the spells. They don't match. I really like having the name of the spell right there, something I had wished for esp with all the new spells coming out, but blue....=/

Other than that...looks good..)

Mavarien 10-31-2002 10:30 PM

I see your point about the blue. Actually the blue represents a beneficial buff. If a Non-beneficial spell were cast on me, it would've been red.

I was thinking about changing the spell name's text color to green though.

What about the Clickers and swaps areas? Do you think they are too small?

OjUI 11-01-2002 12:49 AM

Mav - I like the changes - clickers and swap areas are nice imo and I like the pet window being gone now - but do agree the blue tint on the buffs looks out of place. Perhaps the green ones as seen in this Vert 2.2 Cannabis buff bar would be more appropriate - and using the T.King Buff icons? (without the numbers of course). btw...the non beneficial buff colors with that one are red still.

Once you offer the revision up for dload - please post your UI_mav file too so I dun have to fight with my windows. The last one worked flawlessly.

-edit- Personally I'd love to see "your hp" in a much larger font than it is now - and it be up to the right of the name area in the player window as seen in this mod: http://www.eqinterface.com/sdownload/preview.php?id=482

I'll look into incorporating the graphic tonite

Thanks for the suggestion.

Window Selector

I love the UI hehe even though I am a chanter it was the best one that I could find that had everything I wanted available.

My only question is ...is there a way to get rid of the window selector my old UI that I was using it had been removed and now i just find it annoying.

I have searched for the way to take it out just haven't found it yet.

Thanks a lot in advance

Amielia

Changed Buff color to green like the Vert example shown above. Thanks again OjUi for the suggestion :D

Pet window changes

Heya, first off, I know this must be getting boring but GREAT mod. I started EQ as a roleplayer, and this has lent a whole new lease of life to the character for me. It's something that makes the char feel like a ranger, rather than an XP grinding machine, maybe that sounds silly to most though ;)

One major niggle I'm having at the moment. Been playing around, and with stubborness and some luck, have managed most of the tweaks I have wanted to do myself, but having serious trouble with the clickers. I prefer to use the standard spell bar, and casting window, but it would be VERY useful to have clicky items paged and close to hand for use. Tried to adjust the pet window to make it show clickers only, and not spells, but had no luck as yet =/ Any suggestion?

I addressed those issues as best I could in the Rev 2 Version I posted this evening.

Tried to get all the things I click closer together to reduce the mousing around.

Hopefully resolved the vanishing buff box issue too.

I'll let you know later tonight how it runs on 800x600 on a computer with a GeForce2Ti videocard :D
