Merc Window Mod
 

Hi. I just recently returned to EQ to take advantage of F2P. So, sorry if this has been discussed and discarded. Don't know if it's possible at all. I'm starting to doubt it since I don't see one anywhere and I'm sure I'm not the first to think of it. What I was looking for is a merc window with their buffs in it. Sort of like the pet window is. Bummer if it can't be done. Sure would make life easier to keep track of merc debuffs and such! HP would be nice too. I know. I'm asking too much.

SoE treats mercs is as if they were group members, and not pets. So the only way to see their buffs is to targert them, and view them in the target buffs. Someone remind me, do you need the LAA to see PC buffs? Or just to see NPC buffs?

As far as HPs, that is always shown in the group window; well, a gauge, not an actual number.

You need the aa to see other players buffs but, I forget if it's outside of group only .

I can see his buffs but only when I target him, not in group window. Which AA do I need? Do I need a custom group window or does default work OK?

The way you are seeing his buffs now is the only way you will be able to see them. The group window only lets you see the percent of hps he has in gauge format.

The AA we are referring to is a Leadership Alternate Advancement (LAA for short) that allows you to additionally view buffs on players not in your group (by targetting them) and the next level allows you to see buffs from NPCs (mobs) when you target them.

The only window that can display buffs is the target window.
