Sars 4.3 Hotbutton Configurator
 

A web-page has been built to dynamically create Sars hotbutton.xml file, according to what slots you want.

The Hotbutton Configurator lets you choose between Melee, Hybrid or Caster and then configures each of your 20 hotbuttons. Then press Create XML and it will create your customized XML file. You then relabel the file created (it will be labeled as a string of numbers ATM) to EQUI_HotButtonWnd. Use this newly created & renamed file to replace your old one with the same name.

<remember you'll need to do one per Sars character type>

The Hotbutton Config and different Chars
 

I'm using different Chars and every one needs his own different hotbuttons.
Now,since i need to point at the Custom UI Dir in every UI_Charname_Servername.ini AND in eqclient.ini im getting problems when switching Chars.Since in eqclient.ini i can point to 1 Custom UI Dir only i'll get this "Default Custom UI" on every Char i'll use and this way i can't get the configured hotbuttons to work correct. I don't want to edit the eqclient.ini any Time before i switch the Chars.What i can do to make any Custom UI Dir to work together with "his" Char???? I am missing something ?? :confused:

Cool idea and nice work ...

each toon should have it's own folder and his/her own UI file

so mike the enchanter would have a UI_Server file and a SARS Caster folder specific to Mike the Enchanter... label it Mike (or whatever)

rinse and repeat for each toonage

Problems with Hotbutton Configurator (different Chars,wishing a Hotbutton for each)
 

i have the UI_Server file and a SARS Folder specific to every Toon pointing in the UI_Server file to every Folder but since in my eqclient.ini i have this lines:
NewUI=True
UISkin=Sars4MTarmud
i get all working for Tarmud but in the Moment i play another Toon the eqclient.ini will point to tarmud's Folder( or i am wrong completly and its something else??)and ill get the hotbutton config from Tarmud:( for every Toon.I was already thinking in using a batchfile but i guess there must be a less complicated Way to make this work.

Sombraz: Use /loadskin once on each character.

You mean /loadskin Charactername(of the currently logged Toon) ???
