SARS - I want to display the character's name in the PlayerWindow window
 

Hi -

I really like the SARS interface, and have for a long time.
I have the brand new NOS files (https://www.eqinterface.com/downloa...nfo.php?id=6818) and they work like a charm.
What I'd like to do is have the character's name on screen somewhere, preferably in the PlayerWindow window.

I've compared the SARS EQUI_PlayerWindow.xml to other skins' file of the same name, and can't figure out what to add to the SARS one to make the character name get displayed. It doesn't have to be the whole name - the first name is enough.

Any help would be appreciated.

Is anyone going to take over keeping SARS up to date with the change to full XML? Whoever was doing it last has apparently stopped and I have zero skills but love the interface.

I am currently keeping it up. Anything wrong with it? I have been away for a bit, but keep on on eq news and updates. There really aren't any updates for SARS that I know of.

It's true that right now I will stop updating SARS when the XML engine goes away, that is because I am learning the new HTML system and have come pretty far, but don't get everything yet.

Hope someone will pick it up, or I may do the conversion of SARS once I understand everything, but it has been over a year now since darkpaw started the conversion and only 4-5 windows have been done, so for now SARS will continue.
