3/14/07 Patch Changes
From the patch message:
- Added a scroll bar to the reward window. - Changed the default size of the Options Window to ensure previously-added buttons are visible. - Bazaar Search Window size was changed to avoid the need for resizing in order to access the "Find Items" button. - Made some corrections to the power source slot. * Changed * EQUI_Animations.xml EQUI_BazaarSearchWnd.xml EQUI_GuildManagementWnd.xml EQUI_HotButtonWnd.xml EQUI_Inventory.xml EQUI_LootWnd.xml EQUI_OptionsWindow.xml EQUI_RewardSelectionWnd.xml EQUI_TaskWnd.xml I'm not at home, but every time I see changed UI files I kinda shudder. It takes forever to fix UIs when Sony screws with the defaults... I don't see a message under the Compare section, so does anyone have what actually changed? Maybe I can get started on fixes before I get home. |
I use a custom inventory, hotbutton and animations xml and I was able to log in and play without any trouble.
I've looked at the other windows as I use default stuff for those and I didn't really notice anything out of the ordinary. Minalcar -- Luclin(Veeshan) |
AYA UI did not break.

seems that all they did was resize stuff abit, should have no effect on custom UI's. they screwed up all the bazaar traders though, they switched from the item being listed by its name to its number, so you have to re-enter all the prices.
Was fun to watch every one scream in bazaar when servers came back up =) |
I liked the conspiracy theories. Some people were saying they changed the bazaar to make it easier to track people.
It's just more efficient to do a db lookup using an integer instead of a string, and the strings also can change. |
Most of the updates for the xml files were do to careless code errors. See the frontpage news on the things that were issues that now are fixed, including the edit in the animations file that had a .tga.tga on the warrior graphic instead of just .tga.
Again, most of it was all due to typo errors when TBS was launched. Not surprised it took this long to fix either. |
