Add tabs/pages to a window? What window's can/cannot be tabbed? Yes, I did look thorugh the many posts here, but couldn't find it, perhaps I missed a post...

Anywho, I am working on a complete mod, and, well, nothings complete if you don't know how to do everything!
IE: My room isna ever completely clean because I dinna know how to use a vaccume cleaner without 1) catching it on fire. 2) making little pieces inside pop outta the bottom. 3) Making little pieces inside melt together. (I just am not a lucky person :p Glad my gramma doesn't mind vaccuming.)

Anywho, the window that I am thinking about tabbing is the inventory window, if its possible. or the help window :) Any idea how, anyone?

Uhm, it's harder to explian than to just point you at the tabbed windows and say "check them out", the actions window, friends window and AA window have tabs, after looking at those files I'd think you could quickly see how tabs work. As far as I know any window accepts tab pages.

Yes, I tried looking at the various tabbed windows. As with every other part I've tried, and eventually mastered, its taking me a day to grasp :)

All windows can be tabbed and work correctly. However, it is not possible to create nested tabs (i.e. a page that contains a tabbox element).

I could tab everything but the chat windows so far. Any ideas?

hmm a chat box wit tabs sounds good having liek <main><raid><other> and what not hopefully it can be done

Chat window tabs were tried while back (sometime in August), with mixed success. Yes, the window was tabbed, but no, you couldn't treat each tab like the separate chat windows :(.

In the end, it just wasn't worth it.

Bumping this old thread for a reason. It is the most recent post on the subject.

Nested tabs has been solved. I got it working on my inventory window, which will be uploading within the next 24 hours to my section.

I will be writing a tutorial on how it is done to assist others who want this feature.
