Old Kaori user coming back and looking for a UI
 

Hi folks,

I'm coming back to EQ after a little over a year off and I'm looking for a UI to use. I was using the old Kaori (self maintained) over Drakah's default old UI but there have been too many changes and I don't want to have to figure them all out.

If someone could suggest a similiar UI, or one with minimal graphics, just what necessary I would be greatly appreciative. Oh, and if possible one with the spell names in the bar as I usually 3 box while playing with our boys and I can't remember all the spell icons. I guess I got sp***ed with the old UI.

go with blue infinity 2009 its pretty minimum and i use it exclusively and it works well for what i need!

Thanks, I'll take a look at it.

One easy thing to do would be look at the UI's that are still being updated, and see if any of them have what your looking for.
Maybe Mix and match of the ones that are active to rebuild what you had or at least something close.
Some UI designers are returning to eq and others departing, so glance at the threads reguarding the ui (or parts) you choose so you dont end up having to repeate this by the next major UI patch.

I looked at a lot of them. A few might work but the last updated dates are not for the most recent patch. I'll find something to use this week and them maybe have time to mess with it next week or next month.

I'm pretty sure I will be mixing and matching though.

blue infinity 2009 is pretty much updated and well it has alot of blue in it but its not too hard on the eyes and works with most displays and well all i can say is its the one i use cause i made it and if something is out of date some of the files can be used out of default as long as its nothing like the player window or group window or hotbuttons which are only functional in this ui
