Hi guys. Great feedback here. We've made some changes, and thought you'd like to hear whats coming for this window.

- Merchant window will now start with items sorted by name. The fact that the merchant didn't sort when the window opened was a bug. Now, before you go off and post scathing retorts about not being able to tell which items were sold to the merchant or not, please finish reading all the changes.
- We're adding "Quantity" to the merchant. The merchant will now display how many of an item he has. In the case of unlimited items, this will display a "--". "--" will sort, when this column's header is clicked, as if it were the number 1000000000.

So, yes, we're taking away the initial original list order that put "spawn" items first, then "player-sold" last. This was never an intended feature... it just worked that way. That said, sorting the Quantity column in the new window will essentially give you this ordering back, as well as new information you never had before (how many the merchant has on him).

Look for it on Test soon.

Any possibility you could add a "Done" button to the merchant window??? Love the new one, but having a "Done" button would be a big plus, in my opinion.

There's actually a "Done" button already written into the merchant window.

For some unknown reason, it doesn't work in that window .. at all.

No matter how you try to fix it or replace it or turn it on .. it won't work.


I'd like to see them fix this too. Years of clicking Done has me hitting that damned Buy button in this one alot of times, lol.

Totally agree with you on that one Wymp, I hate having to walk off, or click the X all the way at the top of the screen in order to close out the damn Merchant window. I mean what could have possible changed in the code so much that it rendered the DONE button obsolete, or non-functional. It would be awesome if someone at SOE would take the time to fix that button. I know from a interface artist stand point I have received numerous e-mails asking for the same thing, and I had to turn tell the people almost verbatim what you said.. so needless to continue.. HeY GuyS and GalS over at SOE can you please fix the DONE button in the merchant window PleasE????

Must agrre with the DONE button. I really could care how it sorts NEED THE DONE button. ;)

I think we have been asking for this for a Looooooong time
