Possible to reskin item windows to look original?
 

Would it be possible to reskin the item windows to look more like they did in the beginning? Of course, allowing for more room for stats, etc. I would love to see someone do this.

Today's ItemDisplay window has more features and functions than the old window (such as moving augments around, upgrading items, and showing unmodified stats). As a result, some of the control over it has been moved to programming, no longer controlled by the UI.

Also, it automatically resizes itself, which plays havoc with custom backgrounds.

Some adjustments are possible, but it's less flexible than most windows due to having hard-coded elements inside a tab box.

yeah it sucks, I loved the old parchment look of items, It is possible to bring that look back, but the slightest change from dbg to the window will break it. Then as said before the auto sizing makes it not worth trying to keep.

But who knows.. I like pain so I may add a parchment look to the item windows at some point. Keep an eye on Sparxx ui for an add-on.
