New Spellbook Graphic
 

I'm working on a spellbook mod. Here's a draft of what it'll look like. The gem in the center is animated - it glows. Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions, etc.

(Yes, I know they are the wrong size ;) )

Just wanted to say that you might want to shrink the size of the icons in the book or make the book a little taller.. from a quick eye-balling of your image, it doesn't look like you left much room for the spell text (spell names like Protection of the Cabbage or Blanket of Forgetfulness, for example)

Yes, I think you're right. What I'll probably end up doing is making some sort of grid template using the original spellbook as a guide before I make any of the graphics final, since this will help layout any of the spellbooks I decide to make. I will post the template once I get around to making it, so everyone else can use it.

I am probably going to do several animated spellbooks. I haven't seen many animated mods about.

BTW, not too familiar with that spell: Protection of the Cabbage! ;)

Here is the first template. Makes a nice size spell book.


[EDIT] Outer black line represents page boundaries. The top and left borders are necessary for the code below to work. Coordinates are based on those borders being present.
