Default Old Interface by Drakah
 

The Default Old Interface has now been updated for The Serpent Spine.

Let me know if you have any problems.

Now updated for The Buried Sea.

Folder Name: default_old

If you are using WinZip, choose "Extract to Here" when you are inside your uifiles directory. It will automatically create the default_old folder.

, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Won't let me download it.... =(

i downloaded all of it but when i try to load the UI it crashes. same thing happened to me with the tss version when i was on beta.

plz look into it, your like only person that keeps it updated thx. :)

Downloaded the lastest default_old you have and its not working. End up crashing when i swap over from default =(

I am in game right now with the default_old from the update I did today and it doesnt crash for me. UIerrors?

Thanks a ton, Drakah, for updating this and so quickly. The only problem I have is that the files always end up in a folder inside the folder I name, so the first time I try to select it in game, I always fail and revert to default. :o Thanks again, Drakah, for your often Thankless work.

This is great man. Thank you much for updating this. I cannot tolerate the new UI.

Basically I just zip up the actual folder, so that maybe why you have folder-in-a-folder issue.

If you have winzip, all's you do is place the Zip in the uifiles directory, rightclick, and choose "Extract to Here.." and voila! it gives you the correct foldername with all the prettiness inside.

Thank you Drakah for keeping this UI up and running. It works great for me. One thing I noticed after loading this last UI fix is that my buff icons are huge. The buff windows are the proper size just the icons are huge. How would I go about making them smaller again?

I uploaded a new copy of the default_old. One of the fixes I did was the whitepixel for the dye colors was missing. Bad pixel! :)

I noticed the same thing - everything else looks great though !

...Edit...until I cast my first spell and EQ crashed on me. I hate new expansions!

Few kinks
 

This works great and as many have said thanks so much for the fast update (i 5 box don't want to learn all thnew spell icons and gem icons hehe).

Have however found a few kinks if anyone knows how to fix them.

The spell icons (but this has ben previously mentioned)
The option to ctrl right click containers is not there so all open fully unless you hold down ctrl everytime.
My hot key for my mount slot (ammo) when I first swapped over seemed to be a different slot when I first logged in (I am assuming for the new expansion) but that is not on the inventory box.
Also the media player doesn't seem to work anymore, IE cannot get it to come up.

Think they were the only things I noticed and forgive me if these were already updated, last version I updated was the one that was available directly after patch, I shall DL the latest again today when I log in.

Anyways thx again hun and passing your site around to all the people I know still use the default old UI.

Updated for Oct 4th patch day. It should work fine as the alterations were only minor.

I removed the VideoModesWnd file from it since it already uses the correct drawtemplate from default.

Please stay in the habit of installing a fresh copy, rather than altering/updating an existing one.
