[Request] Old style EQ UI
 

Remember that UI back with EQ and Kunark/Velious? Well ... can anyone bring that back using xml files ;) I really digged the old one ... neat, clean, and never obscured your view (For me at least).

Get the old school ui back!
 

I would liek to see the old ui again, I have been playing eq for a long time and miss it so much. So if some one can remake it or get it back that would be nice

Mmmmmm, Jagged Band.

One of the things that bug me about trying to make that UI Skin.. is that there are now 10 hotkeys instead of 6 original.. outside of that, it's pretty easily done.

Yeah the original owns. Make it so. :)

Add: Was looking around and saw a pretty close one to the original. In beta though. Looks nice Aletheria.

my EQYK4 was a nice, but it needs some Serious patching by now.. would probably take less time to start from scratch, hehe. if any one wants to do it.. feel free to use the graphics from that skin.

Indeed, I would LOVE to see a more accurate UI, especially when it comes to the inventory and spell gems. I wouldn't mind 6 buttons! It'd make it look less crammed together unlike in Y2K4, although the 10 buttons are still inserted very swiftly there. If anyone starts a new mock Classic UI, please remember to work off the original CPP Templates for reference. You can download them here:

I patched the EQY2K4 skin today.. should be available for download soon, just waiting for it to be approved
