Go to your EverQuest folder.
Find UI_Charactername_servername.ini and open it with Notepad.
Search for [MapViewWnd].
Under [MapViewWnd] you should see:
GroupColor.red=0
GroupColor.green=255
GroupColor.blue=0
Or something close to that.
Change those 3 values to set the color of the X indicators for groupmates.
Personally, I use red=0, green=0, blue=255.
