I believe that window is hard coded to disappear after a spell has been cast.
You could try and put a casting bar (EQType 7 gauge) within a window that you know doesn't disappear.
I know they added in "Esc to Close" feature on the windows but no option to stay visible on windows that disappear, at least that I know of.
