This is basically what focus was used for. By me anyway. The qattack command just puts the selected mob in a "que" as the next mob to be attacked. Pretty useless IMHO. New window is bugged anyway. The target health doesn't update unless you keep re-targeting the mob after healing or DSing your pet!
