EQInterface Forums - View Single Post - Can [ and ; be unmapped somehow?

I'm not sure if this is possible, but is there a way to design an interface to disable the [ and ; keys from bringing up the chat bar?

In the current state of the game pressing "[" or ";" brings up the chat bar, and you can't seem to un-map them. You can assign other commands to the "[" and ";" keys, but it still bring up the chat bar every time you use them.

Example: assign User Defined Camera 1 to "[". Then press "[" and the camera angle changes to wide view and also brings up the chat bar.

Can a UI be designed to work around this?
