Converting UI Pieces to Stand-alone.

If I have a favorite UI but like a part of another, how can I make it work by pasting it in my UI folder. Say for example I like Sars casting bar and want it in my UI.

I assume I need to direct the file to the graphic source, but when I look in the UI file there is no mention of where it pulls the graphic.
