One of the reasons EQ allows alt-enter is so you can access your browser. For years, EQ simply highjacked your computer entirely, and it was nearly impossible to do anything without closing EQ or using a 3rd party program. After repeated screams and howls demanding a minibrower in EQ or a way to access your browser and e-mail they finally allowed the alt-enter option. I suspect it is impossible or very hard to do, or they would have just shoved a minibrower into EQ, instead of letting you window out. Windowing out allows more use of 3rd party programs (read cheating) than having EQ take over your system . . .which was the original point of having EQ lock your system anyway.
I hope that made sense.
