darkdemmon the file I uploaded doesn't have the alert windows in it
Two thinks to check,
First make sure that everquest is NOT in program files directory any of them even the program files (x86) directory. Windows keeps a shadow copy of thoes folders and when you modify files manualy it deletes the changes you made and puts back in the shadow copy of them. Give everquest it's own directory (just cut and paste the entire everquest folder) and give it's on spot say C:\everquest
Second dont copy anything from the default UI folder. Make a brand new folder inside the everquest\uifiles directory and mabey even give it a new name from your old ui folder. I use lodixxx (replace the xxx's with the date of the ui update). Then copy the entire contents of the file I uploaded to that directory nothing else don't copy anything out of the defaults, if it's not in the ui folder then eq will auto load them from the defaults folder
