Default Newb Question

I've just started messing around with XML and the UI. But I don't have anything that can read the .tga files. What do you guys use? Is there anything out there that is free. (I'm broke, but aren't we all?)

Have you tried searching at download.com? They might have something that will work for you. I have also heard people talk about The GIMP. I haven't tried it but I believe it is an open source graphics program like Photoshop.

I use MS Image Composer. Not the best bet but it's FREE.

I use Paint Shop Pro 8... there is a free 60 day trial with it, so you can figure out how to use it before you pay the hefty price tag that it costs... it costs alot, because it does alot. If you are new to graphics you may want to stick with a free version until you can learn how to make the most of a full cost version.
