Default XML Help

Ok, this is probably something really simple that I'm not seeing, or it might be the program I am using. I am using SidlWidl as an xml editor for little changes to my ui. I wanted to use an existing pet window that I downloaded, deleted the Taunt button, and replace it with the Pet Get Lost button. I deleted the button and added the new button in the exact same place. When I load EQ, the UI loads like normal, but I get an error message saying that some of my xml files are incompatable and may not operate correctly. I can post the xml if that would help anyone figure this out. Also, if there is a better graphic xml editor out there, any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

button functions are hard coded into into the windows.

It's true buttons are hardcoded.. But that doesn't make what you want to do impossible. Both the buttons you want to modify are hardcoded..

So, To do what you want. Move the Get Lost Button where the taunt button is.. Then, instead of deleting the Taunt Button: Move it out of the window.

Example:

<Location>
<X>-500</X>
<Y>-500</Y>
</Location>

Yep, it worked, I resized the buttons I didn't want to 1,1 and moved them outside the box. Thanks for the help.
