XML byte code compiler
We all know how time consuming it can be to modify UI, login, only to find you made a spelling error. Logout, modify, login, ...
Solution: XML compiler! Convert the .xml files into one byte code file, similar to what Java does. UI designers will immediately know if there are errors, and client can parse the XML considerably faster as it's 99% parsed already.

Well your request is partly the same, but an XML validator and XML pre compiler are two different things.

Why not just do like me ?
I play EverQuest in another windows, so at the same time I play, I can surf, look this forum, chat on irc, etc...
You can at the same time if you find a new ui on the name during you play, change it and try it without having to disconnect.
You do
/loadskin newui 1
if it dont work, you change somethings, then you retry...
I personnally never disconnect from EverQuest except when I go LD , or when I must reboot my computer.

Probably not legal in the term of you can use other illegal programs, like macro programs or even EQShow, but I personnally only use it to surf on the net at the same time. So I dont know what his that illegal, sure people can do others things, but well, play fair , enjoy the game its all I ask you to do.

hmm
Two things.....
verant is making eqw legal again as they have plans to make eq run in windowed mode if the player wants to do so,
and also, go buy a junky 100 dollar computer with a network card, and hook up a network with a directory to your equi directory so you can edit it on one computer and view in game with the other. I use my laptop, but any old computer should work as long as you can network it (and it also runs windows)
