Hi there.. I'm totally new to EQ, but not new to MMOG's at all.

I'm trying to get this UI to work:

but I'm having problems. I do NOT have OoW installed, but I have the Platinum version of EQ installed, which to my understanding has all expansions except Oow.

I've included below all the steps I've taken to try to get it to work (below the error file) and here's the UIerrors.txt file:

Please help, as I dearly love this skin and would be totally thrilled to get it to work! thanks to the maker of this skin! WONDERFUL graphics.. its just beautiful

I don't understand what any of those error messages means, but here's what I did to try to install it...

1. Downloaded the zip file.

2. Unzipped it to a separate directory (C:/beast)

3. Created new file folder: C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\uifiles\KatnTKBeast-fixed

4. Copied all files from C:\beast\KatnTKBeast-fixed to C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\uifiles\KatnTKBeast-fixed

5. Copied XML files from C:\beast\KatnTKBeast-fixed\1024 into C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\uifiles\KatnTKBeast-fixed
(ONLY copied files, not the file labeled "1024")

6. renamed a file that came with the skin entitled UI_name_servernumber.ini
and changed this file name to read UI_Dariannah_36.ini, where Dariannah is my character name and 36 is my server number (Rodcet Nife).

7. Place above file in my C:\Program Files\Sony\Everquest directory, as instructed by the readme.txt that came with the skin.

8. Logged into EQ; went to options panel and hit the button "load custom UI Skin"... picked KatnTKBeast-fixed and accept (I think lol whatever you have to hit on that screen for it to attempt to load the skin)

9. Screen froze for a bit, as if it was loading and then nothing happened.. the same UI was displayed.
