I won't be shocked if this is something silly that I'm missing, but I've been staring at this for a while and am beginning to go cross-eyed. An outsider's perspective would help greatly.

Situation: I want to replace the "journal" button in my Window Selector bar with the dynamic in-game mail button. I have moved the journal button to hidden off-screen coordinates (so as not to produce more XML warnings on load) and added the mail button code, taken from the default code, at the location/size where the journal button was previously located.

Result: I have a blank spot in the window selection bar where the email button should be. When I mouseover it, I get the "Mail <Ctrl E>" tooltip, and if I click on the blank space, it opens the mail window. However, the buttons are missing.

I've attached my Selector Window xml file below. Help is greatly appreciated!

maybe a silly question, but are you using a modified windowpieces_04.tga ?
