Look in your eq folder for the file UIErrors.txt

Post that here and it should get better results.

Default UIErrorlog.txt

Opened my UI error log in my everquest folder, and all it says is "created log on such and such a date". After reading the post about XML files not being compatible, thought that this folder text would help me figure out <I'm starting to try and learn how to do this type of programing, > but now im completely lost.

There is also a Textures.txt file in the Everquest folder. If your UIErrors.txt file is empty there may be some clues in the Textures.txt file. It's not a 100% but you might try looking there.
