In light of the new 3d ring, many an issue has been brought out to those who use ATI cards. A quote in a post had said "1/2 the people that play EQ are probably using ATI." I originally got the ATI 9800 pro 256 but I was getting some artifacting in the video in EQ and Battlefield 1942. I used the det destroyer to make sure all the old det residue was gone but it didnt help. So I returned the card and got the 5900 and I've been very happy. Then in my other systems I have... Geforce 4 TI4600 128mb Geforce 3 TI 500 64mb ATI Radeon 9200? Mobility 64mb (laptop)

You probably need to copy the target ring files to your UI direcotry.

You might also need to turn the 3d Target ring on in the options window.

I have the 128mb ATI 9700 (which I've never had a problem with, at all)... but only because when I bought my Alienware, it was the best card out; nVidia had released their new one yet.

When we ordered my wife's Alienware, we got the 256mb nVidia.
