I am using the optional 25/12 vertical right side set-up.

Thanks for the help.

Yup, if those are the lines under [BuffWindow] then that's what you need to edit. For the 25 Slot Vertical windows, change "Width1280x1024=595" to "Width1280x1024=143" and "Height1280x1024=60" to "Height1280x1024=626" and that window should be good. Repeat for any other window you are having problems with. Just remember not to edit the .ini file while in-game or your changes won't take effect.

Good luck,

Default sizes fubar UI

ok so i put in the dimensions and loaded back into EQ. finally into game i get a message that there is an error loading lodidodi and default UI loads in instead. so i guess the question i have is are those dimensions accurate for every screen resolution? or just the 1280 x 1024?

CombatAbility, Player Information and Group Window seems to be off size. how do I correct those? . I was having problem with buffwindow so by moving to default /resizing and switching back to lodi fixed buffwindow but that introduced size issues with above three windows. Default UI doesn't allow to resize those. Pls help.

Thanks in advance.

For my UI, the dimensions of the windows are the same regardless of the resolution you are using.

I updated http://www.lodidodi.net/ini.txt to include the widths/heights of the other windows people have been having problems with. If you still need them for other windows, let me know.

Thanks LODI worked like a charm, just change the number AFTER the = sign and leave the resolution number alone. Also just change the height and width ones no others.

I have the same problem with the player/target with hott that deepak shows in his screen shots. the window that shows target (player window) does show the complete bar and the ooc timer, but it doesnt show the % number and the hott only shows half the bar, no name, and no %. the target window appears to be the exact same size (verified int eh .ini), which doesnt really pose that much of a difficulty since it does show the target con triangle in its entirety, but the extra blank box surrounding it is annoying. could you post the dimensions for the target window and somebody tell me how to fix the target with hott. i put in the dimensions listed above already.

*edit* figured out the target window prob, went into the ui directory and replaced the current target with hott file with the one in the sub folder. somehow the file must have gotten corrupted. /shrug

Hey Lodi..

My UI is perfectly fine and functioning on my main, but when I loaded it on my alt, all went to hell for that alt.

I cannot see my spell bar..It is either not there altogether (Except when I press alt, then I can see highlighted text) or I am only able to see one-two spell gems.

Is there a fix for this?

I am using vertical spell bar, text is on the left. With 1280X1024 resolution

Most likely this is the same problem that many people are running across after the latest patch, where the windows are determining their sizes from the values in the .ini file instead of the values that the UI authors have listed in the XML files.

What you need to do is manually edit your .ini file so that your SpellBar (CastSpell) Window has a Width of 143 and Height of 289. See previous posts in this thread or other threads if you need more details on how to edit your .ini file.

I know a few people also had the same issue with the Inventory window.
Here are the correct dimensions.
Width 265
Height 391

Ok got a few more windows to add to the list that I need dimensions for.
Actions window
The arrow part of the target window
Big bank window
and the Spellbook

These aren't on the list but they aren't working on only one of my characters. Is there a way to check the files in my lodi folder to get the sizes? Are they in the xml files?
