That line is already in the file. It is near the bottom of the file. You just need to change the false to true

It is at line 502 for me, most likely it will not be on that line for you.

Just do a search in the file for Style_sizable and you'll find it.

Default Bag Order Fix

After 10 years of having the bags (backpacks) go down the left side THEN over to the right side, SOE changed the order of the backpacks so that loot goes into the first left bag then into the top RIGHT bag ...

My response is ... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

If you are like me and have specific bag slots for specific items and are expecting the looted items to go into the left side slots the change is more than a little annoying.

The attached file fixes the inventory slots to put them into the correct (OLD) order of going DOWN the left side first. The fix should (in therory) work with any custom UI. Simply put the file in with your other UI files (not in the default directory as the patcher will just overwrite it)

Cheers!

I have a version that works at least up till yesterday (but if it broke with this patch shouldn't be hard to fix) but I can't upload it here since it says it is too big.
PM me and I can send it?

It looks like the stuff they changed may just be too much for someone who has never edited a UI file before lol

No fix...

Vert was essentially broken prior to HoT although some of us got it moderately functional through HoT until 2/9/2011 patch. As it stands right now, I am unable to get vert to function, much less anything for that matter other than default.

Since EQ has merely pissed me off lately, I'll just go elsewhere for a while and maybe someone will fix vert while i am gone.

Try to use my EQUI_Templates.xml, EQUI_Animations.xml and EQUI_Inventory.xml file from the first postings of this thread.

Or download the ui.zip file. It contains all xml files I use.

Eh, those were really easy fixes. There were some new files in the Animations files & they added some new Templates. Action window was changed, but they just changed the buttons the Default uses (actually, they cleaned up the code on it, nothing else really).

The real problem is no one ever "fixed" Vert to work in a better way for the files. The real issue is that you have to run a Custom Animations & Template. When, the better way, is to run a Custom EQUI.xml, and insert the file where your extra definitions are. But that's a tad outside of my skill with XML (though really shouldn't be that hard, but I'm retiring from EQ soon, sorry to say, so just not on the horizon to do).

Took a plain Vert30 folder and replaced your updated parts Aurelio, still ended up with it failing. You sure those are the only files you have changed? Which version of vert did you start with?

Mindrix...

what did you start with as a base version of vert?

Edit: it seems to have worked after i cleared out my old stuff. Thank you!
