Default bigbank problems

Hi ya all

I am useing default_old in uifiles and i like to keep useing it.
But after the new patching i only have 8 slot's in bank.

I do not have the new expansion POR.

Now what can i do to get the all 16 slot's back?

Im not going to buy the new expansion anytime soon and i would be very sad if i had to change my default_old to something new so i have to learn all icons all over again.

Please help me i have been looking on forum and i cannot seem to find anything i can use.

Hopeing for a fast reply

go into your default ui and open equi bankwindow xml

find:<DrawTemplate>WDT_Filigree</DrawTemplate>
and change to:<DrawTemplate>WDT_Rounded</DrawTemplate>

reason you are having that problem is because there are 2 bank window files, one is for the new 24 slot bank and one is for the old 16 slot bank, in your UI folder. these windows are called EQUI_BigBankWnd and EQUI_BankWnd

EQUI_BankWnd = 16 slot window
EQUI_BigBankWnd = 24 slot window

the old default UI had both of those in it, however...
EQUI_BankWnd = was 8 slots
EQUI_BigBankWnd = was 16 slots

as you do not have the new PoR expansion, the game will no longer allow you to use the Big window, it is set to load up the smaller one, which is why you are seeing an 8 slot window. in order to fix this you will need to open up the NEW default folder, copy its EQUI_BankWnd (which is now a 16 slot bank in that folder) and paste it into your Default_Old UI folder. Problem should then be solved =)

if you try to open it just by double clicking the file, it will most likely load it up in something like an internet explorer window, if you want to edit the file you will need to open a text editor (like notepad) and use it to open the file.

Sorry but none of you guys idears are working...

I did the find:<DrawTemplate>WDT_Filigree</DrawTemplate>
and change to:<DrawTemplate>WDT_Rounded</DrawTemplate>

and I did the you will need to open up the NEW default folder, copy its EQUI_BankWnd (which is now a 16 slot bank in that folder) and paste it into your Default_Old UI folder.

And all I got was the new default interface.

So I still have the samme problem.

I would open the default old EQUI_BigbankWnd.xml in Notepad and save it as EQUI_BankWnd.xml in the folder.

MAKE A BACKUP BEFORE YOU TRY THIS.

I have NOT tested this theory.
