I downloaded a really neat, very comprehensive player window, and the only change that I would like to be able to make to it is that one of the gauges is for regular exp, and I would like to either add another gauge directly below it for alt-exp or replace that exp gauge that currently exists with alt-exp.

Could someone help me modify the file?

Changing the exp gauge to exp gauge is cake and you can do it yourself in 2 mins. Since this windows doesn't display any other type 4s (diety and ear), you can just search on that.

Open up EQUI_PlayerWindows.xml is notepad
Search for <EQType>4</EQType>
Change this to <EQType>5</EQType>

As far as adding a new bar, moving all those stats is a pain but easy enough. Basically:

* Make the window bigger (increase CY size of PlayerWindow)
* Increase the Y positions of the Stats and resists by 14
* Copy the exp guage (from <Gauge item="ExpGauge"> to the first </Gauge> after)
* Paste the copy area underneath the ExpGuage one (underneath the </Gauge> you just copied.
* In the new pasted item, change ExpGauge to PW_AAExpGauge
* In the new pasted item, change PWExpGauge to PW_AAExpGauge
* At the bottom of the file, before </Screen>, add <Pieces>PW_AAExpGauge</Pieces>

Save file, load it up, see how it looks. Adjust the size of the windows as needed.
