Default /loadskin not seeing my folder

Heyas,

I d/l'd a compass, buffs and group skin from this website and they are all the lastest usable versions. I then created a folder \everquest\uifiles\compass and copied the unzipped files to it. However, when I use the ingame loadskin or load compass true command it doesn't load my skins. I read through the forums and I made sure there isn't any subdirectories or spaces in the folder name. Please please any suggestions. I ask a zillion peeps online but that was a waste of time as you can imagine.

Default Try this

make a copy of your default folder in the uifiles folder, rename it compass, then drop the modified compass files into that and overwrite the default ones, then load the game and type /loadskin compass 1, that should do the trick.

If the compass doesn't load then, your compass is broken.
