There are actually three different types of titlebar/border used in the default interface. They are defined in the EQUI_Templates.xml file. They are WDT_Def, WDT_Rounded, and WDT_RoundedNoTitle.
If you look inside WDT_Rounded in the templates file, you'll see a Border section and a Titlebar section. That's where it specifies what graphics are used. You'll want to define some new graphics of about the same size, and then edit those sections to use your graphics. New graphics are usually defined in EQUI_Animations, but in your case it would be better to define yours at the beginning of the EQUI_Templates file.

However, there is a second and easier way. You could edit the graphics file instead of the xml. If you look at A_RoundedFrameLeft, A_RoundedFrameRight, A_RoundedFrameTitleMiddle, and such in the EQUI_Animations file, you'll see that they all refer to window_pieces01.tga. You could edit a portion of window_pieces01 so that those corners look less rounded.
