XML Editors
Just started dabbling with making UI's and I was wondering which XML Editor and other tools you folks use. Any info would be appreciated.

I use mmEd as well .. and just plain ol' Notepad sometimes, too.
Photoshop, mostly, for images.

Dreamweaver MX or 8 for XML??
Has anyone used Dreamweaver MX or DW8 to create XML UI's?? I know if can be used to edit the code, so do I have to create a site in order to get the viewing ability of the images, in other words, can it give me WYSIWYG capability?

Sidl Widl is nice for alignment sometimes, but for the most part Notepad and the like are better. They dont add code to the xml and files to your UI folders like Sidl Widl does.
An easy way to get things lined up and use notepad is to lay out your window using a graphics editor and then just look at the location of the cursor on the graphic for the location. I personally use paintshop pro for the simple stuff and adobe for the more intense shading stuff.

I usually use Sidlwidl when I want to see the changes I am making. When I need to change something small like a border from true to false or if I need to copy and paste parts of files, I use XMLwriter but that's really just because someone bought it for me years ago when I fist got interested in xml =)
/hugs

XML Editor
Yeah, I know this is an old thread, but I thought it could use an update. =P
I personally use Altova's DiffDog Professional for my editing, as well as compare for patch days, it's an awesome piece of software! As far as WYSIWYG, I just do my work while logged into the game and use the load skin feature built into EQ to see my changes. Works great for me. /shrug.
