but if I could at least get the darn window to at least resemble the old in a fashion it's a start on having my old beloved item window back in my mind. Reguardless of the text size etc. I just want some sane semblance that I used to have with the old item window. Still trying to figure out why they made it go from 160 lines of xml to well over 3000, for adding heroic stats to it, they could have just added them onto the existing window, with much less grief and hassle.

Hopefully they will change it soon, the new item display window isnt what it should had been. The mod/unmod feature would be great if it worked, but the old way of items displaying the information I would much rather have back 100% with a working mod/unmod button.

Unless it turns into one of those SOE battle of wills; a lot of times they change something in game and just let the controversy die off and keep it in game.

This could be one of those SOE the almighty imposing their will upon us.

From the latest EQ producer's tidbits:

Item window, oh item window where did you go???
We had to make some changes to the item window to take into account additional information that needs to be displayed. I have heard from many of you that you either love it or hate it. "Yes I have actually heard from people that they like the new window...". We are discussing making changes to the window based on feedback that we have received, but we do not have a scheduled time for these changes. I just wanted to let everyone know that we are paying attention to your feedback and we are treating the window as a work in progress.

It's about time someone said something. I was getting worried it would get swept under the carpet lol.

Oh weird...two patches after the outrage about the new item display window and they haven't done a thing. Tell all your friends to post at the eq forums; there's a huge thread there on the subject and pretty much everyone wants it changed back or better yet, moddable!
