I was thinking a coool looking pet window for shaman maybee have a dreamcatcher looking thing with the bars and buttons in that and a dog face in the lower rigth corner, just an idea though, would really like tos ee some one create this UI for me please?

/sigh. If I only understood xml and making graphics better. I have some ideas in my head but no way to get them out. I could probably do the graphics(nothing photoshop quality though) but i'm not sure how to put the graphics in with the xml. Btw, if anyone knows where I can learn this could ya please put up a link or something so I can give it a try?

I think this would be a good idea. I've been thinking about making somethings for shamans for a while now. The thing holding me back is the not knowing how.

Same here if i only knew how to turn everythign into XML i have way awsome graphics i have made that i could use but i do not hav eth slightest clue how to convert them to XML or what ever i need to do

Okay all. I will see what I can do for this. If you have some graphics that you would want me to use, post a link for me to download them.

Also if you have a rough idea on how you want it arranged, post your thoughts here.

Depending on other things I should have it knocked out within a day or two.

An idea i had was make the back ground like a wolves paw and then have the buttons look like the teonails or pads on the paw, and then put a bar in there that looks like a claw mark as the life bar.

Okay, here is a screen of my first try at it. Give me suggestions that can be done only, please. I will be trying this in EQ tonight and if successful, will provide the link here and upload it to the download section.

OOOOHH nice. Will the feathers hav color or be red?
Also one question can the buttons be costomized? I hate the play commands. No fun or indvisule feeling.

that looks so awsome ), i do have a few sugestions
1. maybee make the out line of the wolf howling a lottle darker kinda hard to see.
2. Make the feathers less red, basicle what the guy said above this post.

But other wise AWSOME!! i really like it and cant wait to be able to use it ).

Thanks for the comments. I have been quite busy with work lately, and leveling (just made 36!!!!). I will upload it on Saturday morning some time. I have a raid tonight and need to get ready for it.

Comments:

1. Make the wolf outline darker - That I can do. Do you want just the outline darker or the whole wolf image? I can do either.

2. Make the feathers less red - I can try to do this. How about less bright or a little transparent so they don't stand out so much.

3. The hotkeys - As this is the pet window, I have to use the keys there. It will not allow me to move hotkeys there I don't think. I will try it though and if it does, ask for hotkey suggestions.

4. Hotkey layout - I am going to try and customise the look of the keys so they do not look so blocky. That will be a later release though. I don't want to hold up the release on this for you guys and gals.

NOTE: After you download it and use it a bit, please reply back and let me know what you think.

Make the whole wolf brighter i think would look the best, ya lighting the feather would help, but you know the more i look at the picture the better the feather slook that red hehe so your call there. i'll check back sat morning

I just uploaded the files for this one. I wanted to get it out there for comments, etc. for as many people as possible. I have not included the comments here yet, but will on the next release. I am going to try and do a full UI with this design now. Drop me ideas here please.

Use lots of dogs and dream catchers the websites i posted above are great places for graphics )

you can have the same desigh as in round windows but use dream catchers instead of doughnuts ). http://www.eqgui.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2165

Then make the target window like a wolf that chumps on the life bar like packman.

And for the inventory you could have a giant dream catcher,.

Just some idea i'll think of more but don use dream catchers eevry were look strange hehe

I can;t move the window there is no border, so i just put a title bar up but, is there a way to fix this?
