Default Graphic screw up

i'm trying to "vert" the player window from Cormanth's Simple screen-wrapped UI. in photoshop it looks perfect, but to a perfectionist's eye the in game graphic has wierd white dots just inside the border. attached is in game and in photoshop comparason. what's going on?

Your PS screenshot only shows the RGB channels. What about transparency?

Alternatively it can be a semi transparent part in a window border, overshadowing the inner texture.
It looks like something external bleeding into your texture.

hmm don't know what i say to that.. the alpha's fine if i screw it up part of the picture will have a white background.

this seems to only happen when i make the border black. the border is a dark grey now and it works fine. wierd..
