Short Duration Buff Window (after patch)
Since the patch yesterday, I see this in my Uierrors.txt.
[Wed Jan 26 22:37:47 2005] Error: Could not find child Buff6 in window ShortDurationBuffWindow
[Wed Jan 26 22:37:47 2005] Error: Could not find child Buff7 in window ShortDurationBuffWindow

Did I miss something and they added more SD buffs, or is this another slip from DoN do you think? Wondering if anyone else is getting the same..

They have added 6 more bard song slots; I've started work on modding my sars-based bard box but as of this time I don't have the new eqtypes.

There are now 12 slots available for short duration buffs, an unannounced change.
I am at the same roadblock regarding EQtype for short duration buff #6 through 11. All the rest of the code change is done, but unable to complete without that additional piece of info

Same here, have everything ready but the EQUI.xml issue, and the shortbuff EQtypes. So far I have tried 134, 140, 150, 200, 300, 400, 520, 550 and 600 without success.

haven same problem with my ui httk an two other buff mods i made . i dont understand why we need 12 total short duration buff slots.never have i seen more than 5 total short duration buffs at one time .may be biger raiding situation needs them or some temp negitive buffs will go to that window now. or disiplines will have their buff icons go their as well /shrug.
half temped to just have the buff icons with 1st 6 with lables an rest not have just to clear the error which dont affect any thing atm but hate haveing a error .

This is the patch message that just came out - hopefully it will fix the error messages:
- The Eye of Zomm has regained it's ability to open doors.
- The Ikkinz instances should be functioning properly again.
- Fixed the errors that were causing the "Your XML files are not compatible" message.
- Money should no longer be vanishing until you zone after attempting to give money to an NPC.
- Fixed several bugs with the following epic effects:
Beastlord
Berserker
Magician
Monk
Necromancer
Warrior
Wizard

short duration buff window xml was not included in my down load.. so the extra short duration slots are still their least atm an we still need them eq type numbers .
thanks for link Riatlsila posted on thread an got it bookmarked.

There are no EQtypes for the SD buffwindow. Just alter the Buff# to 5-11.

their are eq types for the 1st 6 short duration buffs lables (the name of the buff ) so one would only asume their are ones for the extra 6.

As with all expansions that involve changes to the UI there will be a few bumps in the road. The best thing for now is to ride it out while SOE and the UI makers here figure all the code out and make the updates

You can always use default window be removing the xml file if it bugs you immensly.

For now, I added the extra 6 buffs to the song window, and I also defined the buff name labels, but did not add them to window pieces listing. So far so good.
