allright, RC0 of Lunix_SM is out.. however I've gotten complaints from some people who's UI wont render certin windows.. if you are experiancing this problem, please post your videocard and proc configuration.
if you are experiancing anything else please post :-)

Changes and additions comming in RC1 of the Lunix_SM UI
{Locked}*Group window and player(buffs) will see addition of colour changing squares
{Pondering}*Alternate casting gauge that looks like a lion
{Locked}*Moving the XP and AAXP into the selector window
{Locked}*Removing the casting and breath windows, and placing the two gauges in the player(buffs) window (saves memory to render inside a previously viewable window)
{Pondering}*Total teardown of the UI and starting from scratch
{Pondering}*Stealing graphics from ACUIr3
{Locked}*twobox optimization allready included
{Pondering}*FU10.29 loading optimization, it makes the UI very fast
{Pondering}*Enok's Sneeze guard into many of the buttons in the UI

the sneeze guard lets you disable the function of a key ingame, incase you click it by accident it wont disrupt what you are doing.. say you are running in circles and you click gate.... you could use the scrollwheel to disable the spell gem buttons..
personally I don't know how it works.. I had to steal the changing colour squares from tinkfu :-/

I was planing to put the target gauge in the player(buffs), but with the new (better?) conning system being tyed into the target window, I am probably going to leave it as is.

I had two reasons for holding back on the launch.. one the patch is going to be a big change and I am not sure I can make everything work with it.. second was everything is changing at the last minute.. here is a list of changes and updates ( and I hope it's the last list )
Changes/updates on release
*name will change to Lunix_Pro
*TwoBox optimization will come later, after the next patch
*the Player(buffs) window is going to be darkened ( to make the numbers show up better )
*Target Window will be moved into the player(buffs), the window it'self will remain invis.. but function as a 100x8 con bar.
*GroupWindow will lose it's buttons
*Breath, Casting and player windows will all be disabled
*new pet window will come later, after the next patch
*Lucinda code launcher will be relplaced with the Lunix_1.33 code launcher
*Nvidia Optimization will be turned on, ATI support will be turned on
*a new spell book is being researched ( evil spellbook will be the default. good can be found in a sub folder )
*a new background is being drawn ( no more stitch work look )
new and final launch date 10/28/2003

this preview was going to be a full preview of the UI.. with the new light 1.33Kb background... but as you can see from the posted pic it didn't work..
I guess thats why the tga writer is still in beta :-)

for anyone who downloaded RC0 or RCguildonly of the Lunix UI.. a problem has been discovered.. I left the compass window in the modded UI.. I have it set to load from the default..
to save room and make the UI run a little smoother please delete the included compass window in your RC0 or RCguildonly folder ( excluding people who have plugged in custom compasses )
