Launch Pad patcher

It's getting put on EQ today, so it may impact those who have custom patchers running.

Ahti A Ghoul Join Date: Jul 2005 Posts: 12	For those of our authors not playing the game any more, you wont be able to download patches so you can fix your UI's. You must have an active account in EQ to get the patches now. So sad Guess we will be asking EQInterface to have a section to hold any updated UI files after a patch for the authors.

Isn't that pretty much the purpose of the compare files that are listed every patch?

Ahti A Ghoul Join Date: Jul 2005 Posts: 12	You are correct, but the xml files are not the only thing updated. Example: tga's And the compares are not always done right away after a patch.

Drakah Skinning Guru Join Date: Jul 2002 Posts: 1,076	I am very happy with the new launchpad for EverQuest. They finally have something that actually matches the game, unlike the default UI. Only small glitch to it is you see the dashed-box around some fields and the Play button. Hopefully soon I can go back and start re-drawing the UI I once worked on.
