Default Missing a chat filter

In one of my windows I had a chat filter for, "that ability is not ready for use yet". I used it specifically for taunt and bash but now I cannot seem to locate the filter category it is under since it no longer shows on any of my windows.

Anyone know which filter it is?

I am not sure if it is in the game anymore since the button displays a countdown timer on it. I am assuming you are using a macro with /altactivate though.

Not sure what you mean. A few days ago I had it in a window. I somehow accidentally closed the window, now its not showing up in any of the chat windows. I just can't figure out which chat filter it was under.

Its the skills filter. For some reason it wasn't reporting that timeout. suddenly it is again.

In the past when I wanted to know how long it would be until I could use a skill again, I would try to activate the skill and read the '...will not be available for another xx seconds' message to find out. Now, since the all of the buttons have a 'guage' like countdown on it, and hovering over the button showed how many seconds were left, I don't ever hit the button until it is ready anymore.

I just wasn't sure if they kept the text indication in since the information you got from it was obsolete.

However, if you created a macro button, and one of the lines is /altactivate xxxx, that button won't countdown, so you wouldn't know when the skill was ready unless you tried to activate it.

I was overthinking it. I am glad you figured it out!

One can use the function /timer to add the cooldown overlay to a /social. For example:

/timer 1000, /doability 5

is my forage social. It adds a 1:40 second cooldown overlay.
