Default Redux Evolution

Ive taken QRL and thrown a few twist to it.
- The basics of quartz are still there
-the group window was changed to include self
-the spellbar is now horizontal so it sets on top of group window
-target window now has buffs to the side

What this gives you is group, target and spells all in a tight group which makes for faster and easier gameplay.

I would like to add the Guild, Inventory, Options and Map buttons to the selector window. I see them in the Selector Window file already, so I am hoping that it would be easy to do this. If you can give me a hint or 2 on what needs doing, I can try to modify it myself.

yes all you have to do is set the x and y coordinates...so say you want them next to the merc button you would make the Y same as merc buttons and the x would be whatever the merc button is at plus the size...(i think its 20)so if merc button is <x>20<x> make the next button<x>40<x>
.................................................. ..<y>0<y>...............................<y>0<y>

This would place your next button to the right of merc button on selectorand if ya wanted to go below the mail button you would simply change the <y> value(again by 20 )

Default font size changes

Lov the Hybrid, works nice. Is there anyway to change the font size for each window now that they all no chat bars?

yes you can go to each window and click the always chat here change your font then repeat at next window...when all done just click always chat here back at the input box and all done 8)

I would like to use the old fashioned chat boxes, with the chat bar. What do i need to do to revert back to those?

Default Nice work (again)

Finally, EQInterface let me DL it for installing. I noticed the little adjustments for mana, Endu and pet HP bars in the group window.
Currently I'm able to see the light blue background of the "good" buffs; didn't have "bad" buffs so far for yellow or red background.

But I have a suggestion for the next update:
The proc counter for the new poisons works fine (good thing, SOE), but its location in the buff icon could be adjusted.
I play with active Buff timer and (if applied) counters (for debuffs) and the proc counter now is attached to the timer information of the next buff to the left.
I would suggest to place the proc counter at the bottom right side of the icon (if adjustable).

It's no need to fix it asap tough; as for humans, we're able to get used to something .

ya the earlier problem you were having wazs because an administrator hadnt
approved it for posting yet. As far as the counter I will look into it but it is probably a hardcoded thing that ya cant change

Default Selector problem

Hello Halelen,

I got a incompatible message when I load the 4.1 version of your UI, modded with "Selector with clickies".
Fortunately, I have an "older" selector window with merc button, the 4 weapon / range / ammo slots and some clickies (don't remember since when); using this window gives no error. I added the file below.

i do love yoru mods but can you look at your pet window in your caster mod it sucks hard cor all i have is a little green bar for the pet and i have no room for hotkeys to control the pet and ferther more every time i add in a new pet window i end up crashed thank for your time

There are at least 3 branches of Halelen's Redux UI: Melee, Hybrid's, Caster. For me as Melee (we don't have a useful pet, just Buff Familiar's) the Pet window you describe is more than we need, except the missing "get lost" button to make the familiar "invisible".

Do the Hybrid and the caster version also have this minimalistic pet window?

For right now yes they are all using the minimal pet window...there are a few issues with the pet window so im not releasing it till I have them all figured out. What i do is made a hotkey /pet get lost to get rid of familiar but if you want a pet window with the button that would be an easy make..Let me know

Ya that was addressed in the release notes that the pet window is not finished still trying to work a few bugs out. Could you please let me know what outside pet window you are trying to substitute in so I can check what the issue is....Like are you sure the pet window you are trying to use has been updated.
