TKing Player Windows (beta):
This is the first version of this player window I'm releasing:
http://www.mammothworks.com/eq/UI/T...TKing-WC-HG.zip
Here is a screenshot:
Info:
Gauges from top to bottom are: life/mana/exp/aa
I included a simple target window so that you don't have to deal with the blinking red square around the player window. Its basically a modified luntar target window with a cast bar as well ( the casting window is cleared out. )
The gauges and art are from TKing's work. I modified his gauges.tga and pulled some graphics from some of his other work.
This particular player window is geared towards Wisdom Casters. The name has abbreviations to help me remeber what is what
WC = Wis Caster
HG = Header, Grouped ( Header is the Square w/ info; grouped is the fact that the percentages are grouped opposed to done ind individual boxes. )
Please continue to send me your comments, and I hope somone likes this enough to test it out a little

hmmmm....
Figure'd I'd do the quickies first:
http://www.mammothworks.com/eq/UI/T...g-IC-HG-Pet.zip
Info:
Gauges from top to bottom: life/mana/exp/pet
Aimed at Int based Pet classes. Can change exp to AA or add a 5th bar. Mirror'ing the window will take me more time ( I'll possibly look at this when I finish a few more versions. ) I'm working on a group and chat windows to match this style.

Well, I really like it how looks. When I tried it out though, it messed up my Target/Player Window quite a bit. Out of curosity, is how ya did it made the old Player Window the Target bar, and the Target bar the new Player window?

Yes....
Yes, I included a target window, because I swapped the two. All the actual player information is in:
EQUI_TargetWindow.xml
and all the Target information lives in:
EQUI_PlayerWindow.xml
So if you use your own Target mod, you'll have to basically cut and paste it into the EQUI_PlayerWindow.xml -- I'll try to write up a quick howto.txt and add some comments in each file to help make this more straight forward.
Also, I've tried to make the target bar a little more attractive:
I'll probably release this separately because I really like how it looks I'll make a version without the cast bar as well.

Ok. So, I tried just copy/pasting, and when I tried to boot it up, I got this error.
[Mon Feb 03 16:55:54 2003] [Line:495 Source:UIFiles\sufferance\EQUI_TargetWindow.xml] Schema error - Duplicate item TargetWindow
[Mon Feb 03 16:55:54 2003] Error loading skin: loading default skin instead.
ANy thoughts?

I did'nt rename the window in the target file:
EQUI_TargetWindow.xml
Near the bottom of the file you'll see this line:
<Screen item="TargetWindow">
Change "TargetWindow" to "PlayerWindow" or anything unique "MyTargetWindow" etc...

Bluesummers:
My apologies, I gave you some bad information. Just make sure that the following line:
<Screen item=xxx>
Reads:
<Screen item="TargetWindow">
in EQUI_TargetWindow.xml
and
<Screen item="PlayerWindow">
in EQUI_PlayerWindow.xml
Hortania are you unzipping ALL files, or trying to just use the Player Window? I've unzip'd both zip files on different machines with no issues. Post your UIErrors.txt file if you can't get it to work.

^^ Also found some issues with my TGA files ( they're about twice as large as they should be. ) I'll be cleaning this up for all mods very soon.
hortania:
Not sure what to tell you. I've tried three machines now and the only problems I've had have been posted already. Only other thing I could suggest is that you make sure the windows are open after loading:
Alt-T for Target and Alt-Y for Player if I remember correctly. ( Remember these are swapped. )
